PropertyWorx is a locally owned exterior cleaning and property maintenance business serving the Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia. We keep this simple: we only collect the information we need to give you a quote and do the work, and we never sell it. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
When you ask for a quote. Our quote form is powered by Jobber, our booking and scheduling software. It asks for your name, email, phone number, property address, and details about the work you want done. We need this to get back to you and price the job.
When you apply for a job. If you fill out our careers form, we collect your name, contact information, and anything you choose to tell us about your experience.
When you call or email. We keep your contact details and notes from our conversation so we can help you.
Automatically. Like most websites, our host records basic technical information — your IP address, browser type, and which pages you viewed — to keep the site running and secure.
How we use your information
- Get back to you with a quote, usually within 24 hours
- Schedule and complete the work you hired us for
- Answer your questions and provide customer service
- Consider you for a job, if you applied
- Keep records for our own accounting and follow-up
- Keep our website working and secure
That's it — nothing you wouldn't expect from hiring a local cleaning company.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information and we don't share it for advertising. To run the business, we rely on a few trusted service providers who handle some data on our behalf:
- Jobber — our booking and scheduling software, which processes your quote requests. Our quote form is run entirely by Jobber, and they may use their own tools to keep it working. You can read Jobber's privacy policy.
- Netlify — hosts our website.
- Google Maps — used inside our quote form to help with addresses.
These providers only get the information they need to do their part, and they're not allowed to use it for their own marketing.
Cookies
Our website and quote form use a small number of cookies to keep things working properly and securely. We don't use them to follow you around other websites or build an advertising profile. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though the quote form may not work as well if you do.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as we need it to serve you and for our normal business and accounting records. When we no longer need it, we securely get rid of it.
Your privacy rights
Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA), you have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected if it's wrong, and to ask us to delete it. Just get in touch and we'll take care of it. If you ever have a concern we can't resolve, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Keeping your information safe
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, theft, and unauthorized access. No way of storing or sending information online is ever completely secure, but we work with reputable providers and limit who can see your data.
Children
Our services and website are meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page.
